Notice to Members-EFT payments

This year the annual European May Day holiday falls on Thursday May 1^st and all banks including the European Central Bank which operates the banking settlement system across Europe, will be closed.  While it is a normal working day in Ireland on that day the European holiday means that electronic payments cannot be made to accounts in Ireland or across Europe. This means that anyone expecting a EURO payment to their account on this date may not receive the payment until Friday 2^nd of May.

Please be advised that you need to allow additional time for payments to reach the beneficiary. Payments usually received on the 1^st of the month should be submitted on Tuesday 29^th of April to reach accounts on Wednesday 30^th of April. Standard payment processing cycles will apply from Friday 2^nd May.
